Notice on keeping your network safe from malware attacks

Yuanta Securities (Hong Kong) ("YSHK") recently received reports from foreign securities peers that hackers have successfully installed malicious software on their end customers' computers and asked users to try to log in to the trading website for multiple times, enter verification codes multiple times during the login process, or ask users to let others log in from their computers. Since many types of malware, such as computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware, dishonest adware and other malicious and unwanted software are designed specifically to steal account credentials and customized to target specific individuals. 

YSHK would like to remind customers that we will never ask any other user to try to log in from your computer under any name or ask you to enter multiple authentication codes during the log in process. Please take extra care to keep your personal password safe and update it regularly. Do not provide your authentication method, including your personal password, one-time password or one-time security code sent to your mobile phone or security device, to anyone to protect your own rights.

If you suspect that the device you use to access our online and app services has been lost or stolen, or if there have been unauthorized transactions in your account, please  contact your Account Manager or call our Customer Service Hotline at (852) 3555 7878 for immediate assistance.
